Parkway Shopping Centre Country Market opens 14th October
Limerick - October 9, 2009 - Parkway Shopping Centre Country Market opens for business this Wednesday 14th October at Parkway Shopping Centre, Dublin Road, Limerick. The new country market will operate every Wednesday, rain or shine, from 10 am to 2 pm and free parking is readily available.
"We will have a good selection of vendors at the first market next week with the number growing as the year progresses," said Roger Beck, centre manager for Parkway Shopping Centre. "Customers can expect to find home grown vegetables, award winning cheeses, pates, apple juice and cider vinegar, speciality pies, jams and chutneys, plants, shrubs and in the coming weeks we will also have traders selling live poultry, sushi, fresh bread, fish, pastas, indian spices and curries. The choice of traders and produce that will be available is diverse and we expect their to be a real buzz around the market, the great thing is that we will be offering the produce of munster for the people of munster, this is a tangible ‘shop local, support local’ initiative.”
According to Roger Beck the location for the new market at Parkway Shopping Centre is ideal as it will offer Munster shoppers a vibrant and exciting shopping experience where they can combine their traditional weekly supermarket shopping with a trip to the country market. Over time we will have cookery demonstrations, music and other activities taking place alonside the market making it a real day out for young and old.
